Sydney Evan Announce The Launch of Wicked Fine Jewelry Capsule Collection

The LA Based Fine Jeweler Designed A New Collection To Celebrate The Upcoming Film

[Los Angeles]- To mark the highly anticipated release of Universal Pictures’ Wicked in theaters on November 22nd, 2024, Sydney Evan’s founder and designer Rosanne Karmes created an exclusive fine jewelry collection drawing upon the film’s iconic themes, characters and visual elements.

Wicked x Sydney Evan is largely inspired by the story’s main characters Glinda and Elphaba, portrayed in the film by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo respectively. Among the standout offerings is an elevated, cocktail-attire assortment of white diamond and precious gemstone necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings offered in both pink and green stone colorways to reflect the two beloved characters.

Glinda-themed pieces include her iconic wand transformed into a 14k gold, diamond, and pink sapphire pendant necklace, perfume bottle stud earrings, and a sparkling array of butterfly motifs across categories. The Elphaba-themed assortment include 14k yellow gold witches’ boot and hat charms accented with a single emerald and offered as a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Other items of interest include an Elphaba-inspired 14k yellow gold signet ring adorned with emerald and amethyst gemstones, as well as an emerald and diamond moth motif medallion necklace inscribed with the phrase “Unlock The Magic Within” on the opposite side.

“It was a complete joy creating this collection and immersing myself into the wonderful world of Wicked,” said Rosanne Karmes, Founder & Designer of Sydney Evan. “My vision when designing was to seamlessly incorporate the DNA of Sydney Evan and Wicked into every piece, merging both universes. You will see this reflected in our popular icons such as the evil eye, butterfly, and star, which are subtly included throughout the line.”

The Wicked x Sydney Evan collection also features an Oz-themed assortment, including a 14k gold hot air balloon motif with a single emerald offered as a necklace, ring, and earrings, as well as "Oz" charms in 14k gold and emerald.

Prices in the collection range from $220 USD to $30,970 USD and items will be available for purchase starting November 1st 2024 at SydneyEvan.com select Bloomingdale’s locations, and other select specialty retailers. The partnership will continue in late 2025 when Wicked x Sydney Evan will launch a brand new assortment to coincide with the theatrical release of Wicked Part Two.

About WICKED

The holidays are about to get Wicked. The record-shattering, Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon becomes a two-part, gravity-defying, generation-defining cinematic event. Wicked Part One flies into theaters Nov. 27, 2024. Wicked Part Two lands Nov. 26, 2025.

Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning powerhouse Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a defiant social outcast who has yet to discover her true power, and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Ariana Grande (Hairspray Live!, Don’t Look Up), as Glinda, a popular young woman, gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart.

As the two women forge an unlikely sisterhood, they will empower each other in ways that neither foresees. But as dark forces of prejudice and oppression loom on the horizon, the choices they make will separate them, and will set them on different destinies that will change them, and Oz, for good.

The film stars Oscar® winner Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Crazy Rich Asians) as Madame Morrible; Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Crashing) as Fiyero; Tony nominee Ethan Slater (Broadway’s Spongebob Squarepants, Fosse/Verdon) as Boq; Marissa Bode, in her feature film debut, as Nessarose; and Emmy nominee and pop culture icon Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic World franchise, The Grand Budapest Hotel) as The Wizard.

The all-star cast includes Emmy nominee Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) as Pfannee, Bronwyn James (Harlots) as ShenShen and Tony nominee Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman) as a new character created for the film, Miss Coddle.

Directed by electrifying filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights), Wicked Part Two is the second chapter of a two-part immersive, cultural spectacular.

Wicked is produced by Marc Platt (La La Land, The Little Mermaid), and by Tony winner David Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), with whom Platt produced the blockbuster Wicked stage musical. The executive producers are David Nicksay, Stephen Schwartz and Jared LeBoff.

Based on the bestselling novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked is adapted for the screen by the stage production’s book writer Winnie Holzman and by legendary Academy Award® winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz.
