NBC’s “Saved by the Bell”-Inspired Diner Readies for West Coast Homecoming
CHICAGO -- Saved by the MaxTM, the pop up diner and viral phenomenon inspired by the iconic Saved by the BellTM campus hangout The Max, is so excited, so excited, so excited to announce that the restaurant’s official Los Angeles home will be in West Hollywood at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd. Diehard fans of the classic TV show and foodies alike can expect Saved by The Max to pop up in Los Angeles before year’s end as the official first stop of its road trip around the country, following a massively successful one year sold-out run in Chicago.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring The Max back to Los Angeles for the ultimate homecoming,” says Derek Berry one of the partners behind Saved by The Max. We wanted a space that would allow us to transport fans back to Bayside and fully immerse them in the universe of the show. The end result is going to be a dream come true for us all and will deliver the nostalgic experience everyone has been waiting so patiently for.”
The announcement was made this morning via the diner’s social media channels in a video starring Mr. Belding himself, Dennis Haskin. Everyone’s favorite principal was tapped to celebrate the location’s announcement, and that the restaurant’s opening day and reservation tickets for Preppies nationwide will be made available soon at www.savedbythemax.com. Plan for a Cut Day from class to get tickets before they are gone – missing out would be worse than Saturday detention.
Once open, Saved by the Max will continue to showcase the finest in chef-driven diner faire. Guests can expect such crowd pleasers as Tori’s Fried Chicken, A.C. Sliders, Mac & Screech, Bayside Burger, Preppy BLT, and the Kelly Kapowski Montecristo. The diner will also feature celebrity hosts and DJs, along with special themed nights and events.
Stay tuned to @SavedbyTheMax on social media for updates on the Los Angeles opening day announcement and when tickets will be made available to the public. Still want The Max in your city next?
